Pycnogenol Sperm Research Study

Dr. Roseff and colleagues evaluated the potential beneficial effects of a novel herbal (Pycnogenol®) preparation on improving sperm parameters in infertile male patients.  The pilot study demonstrated a 99% increase in the average morphology (shape) of sperm, the findings of which were presented at the October 1998 combined meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the International Federation of Fertility Societies in San Francisco, CA.  Thousands of meeting participants were present for the meeting, and tremendous excitement was generated regarding the conclusions of Dr. Roseff's study.  Dr. Roseff was invited, too, to present his data at the 6th International Pycnogenol® Conference in France between May 28th and June 4th, 1999.  Doctors, research scientists, nutritionalists, and members of the American, European, and Asian press attended this exciting meeting, and his study findings were extremely well-received!

Dr. Roseff's final, larger, and more comprehensive Pycnogenol® study found a 38% (statistically significant) increase in sperm morphology, as well as a 19% improvement is sperm function!
