Directed by Dr. Roseff, a Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility Specialist with over two decades of expertise in infertility, the IVF Program at The Palm Beach Center for Reproductive Medicine offers our patients HIGHLY individualized and personalized care in a warm, hand-holding setting. If you have not seen our renowned IVF success rates, you should view them by clicking HERE.
Here's how IVF works at our Center:
Your consultation would be done at The Palm Beach Center for Reproductive Medicine by Dr. Roseff, and any necessary testing would be done at his Center, too. Then, if/when you are ready to undergo an IVF cycle, Dr. Roseff will tell you what medications to use, what protocol you'll be individualized to, what doses to take (on a daily basis), when to have blood tests/sonograms for monitoring, what those results show, when to take an hCG injection to prepare for egg retrieval, and when to have your egg retrieval. The retrieval would be done by Dr. Roseff's colleague, a Board Certified RE, at Palmetto Fertility Center (in Miami Lakes), at which time the embryology will be done as well. Three to five days later our patients return to PFC for an embryo or blastocyst transfer, after which they come to our Center in Wellington for blood testing in the second half of their IVF cycle. We see you less than two weeks after your embryo transfer for pregnancy testing.
Hormone
manipulation, individualization of drug protocols, highly aggressive drug
therapy, and intensive monitoring are Dr. Roseff's forte. The steps
you would undergo here at Palm Beach Center for Reproductive Medicine are
overseen by one, single, Board Certified RE (Dr. Roseff), and that may
increase your pregnancy odds compared to having your treatment plans managed
by multiple doctors. Egg retrieval, embryology, and embryo transfer
are the strengths at Palmetto Fertility Center. We put this all
together, and over the years we've maintained
IVF success rates amongst the highest in the country.
Our
out-of-state patients are given or e-mailed a list of local
motels/hotels they can stay at during their cycle. Pre-IVF testing
needed here (BEFORE starting an IVF cycle) generally begins on the second or
third day of one's menstrual cycle, so you would need to be at our
Wellington office by cycle day 2 the LATEST. The rest of the testing
takes an average of two weeks to complete, so most women stay in our
vicinity for those few weeks (although some fly back and forth). At
the end of the testing, you would sit down face-to-face with Dr. Roseff and
review all test results and formulate a proper plan to (hopefully) forge
ahead with an aggressive IVF cycle. Once the IVF cycle (stimulation)
begins, most women need to be in the area for about two weeks until their
egg retrieval occurs. The average woman has an embryo transferred to
her uterus 3-5 days after her egg retrieval. We place our patients at
bed rest the day of transfer and the next day, after which they may either
be monitored here in Florida or at home for hormone manipulation in the
second half of their IVF cycle and to determine if they became pregnant.
Our IVF cycle costs are competitive with and similar to the average cycle costs in our area of South Florida. We discuss all fees at the initial consultation and we offer a very competitive package price which is at a discounted rate. The package includes cycle management, monitoring with blood tests and ultrasound examinations during the IVF stimulation phase, anesthesia for the egg retrieval, the egg retrieval procedure, embryology culture (growth of embryos in the lab), assisted hatching (if applicable), embryo transfer, blood testing after transfer, and the initial pregnancy blood test. Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is additional. Other fees are applicable (including, and not limited to medications), and these fees can be discussed with you (by our office manager) at your initial consultation.
We don't offer refunds, as we feel these may be misleading and unfair to our patients. There are certainly no guarantees in the medical field, and making a "guarantee" of pregnancy is sometimes considered unethical. Also, many refund programs make their patients pay for MORE THAN ONE IVF cycle up front - if the patient conceives on her first IVF cycle, then she paid for several cycles but only received one cycle. Most of our patients conceive on their FIRST IVF cycle, so making them pay up front for two or three cycles makes no sense to us.
One thing that makes us DIFFERENT than some other IVF programs in our area is that our practice is a ONE doctor private practice. This may serve your individualized and personalized needs better than either a 2, 3, or more doctor "IVF clinic" (with doctor "A" making critical decisions about you today, doctor "B" making critical decisions about you tomorrow, and doctor "C" treating you the next day "trying" to coordinate your care). We may serve your needs better than a cold, impersonal, large IVF program. You should read more about why we're different by clicking HERE.
Our practice philosophy is, "Do it once, do it right, and make it WORK"!

*A clinical pregnancy is defined as sonographic evidence of an intrauterine gestational sac with a fetal heartbeat. Pregnancy rates (with your own eggs) are highly dependent upon female age and egg quality, and therefore may not pertain to your individual odds of success. We screen for egg quality (ovarian reserve) prior to IVF -- click HERE for more information regarding ovarian reserve. A comparison of clinic success rates may not be meaningful because patient medical characteristics and treatment approaches may vary from clinic to clinic. As entry criteria are highly variable for each IVF program, a center-by-center comparison of results is not valid. Annual statistics may be most demonstrative of overall success rates, and you may contact us to obtain our latest compilation of those rates. Above statistics reflect data combined from both embryo and blastocyst transfers. Dr. Roseff maintains no insurance affiliations with Palmetto Fertility Center. Statistics verified by Harrison & Associates.
